Cassidy Tucker
Owner & Founder FabFormals
Cassidy has a vast pageantry background. Evening gowns being the number one money pit of this hobby Cassidy was determined to find a way to make it easier on girls shopping for pageants, proms, homecomings, and other formal events. She began hosting dress resale events (The Dress Swap & Shop, 2.0, & 3.0) at just 17 years old to raise pageant sponsorship money and instantly fell in love with the industry.
Cassidy was later accepted into the Shelby County CEO Program as a high school senior, this program places stepping stones for students to become part of the business world at a young age. Second Semester students are required to create their own business. Always wanting to expand the Dress Swap & Shop Cassidy decided to convert it into a store, which started as a consignment store in 2019, survived the pandemic of 2020, and converted to a retail location in 2021 while also providing tuxedo rental services.
She was then awarded first place at the CEO Next National trade show in the summer 2019. Throughout the first three years in business Cassidy was a full time student and in spring of 2022 earned an Associates Degree Of Arts and Certificates in Business Development, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Sales. She also worked full time as an Admin Assistant with Heartland Dental for one year, and then as an Office Manager for the Findlay Marina for one year. In March of 2022 Cassidy took on running FabFormals as a full-time career and now coaches track and field and substitute teaches part time to continue building connections with students that happen to fall within the target market of FabFormals. She is also working hard to give back to the program that helped her get her start and sits as a board Vice Chair of the Shelby County CEO Program focusing on the recruitment of future CEO student.
